"A hive feeds....while a new brood is born in their shadows." 1500x1500 fullsize, if you want to see the main bug's face (complete with red eyes and antennae) - and the little red babies. :D

Mandelbulb raw fractal - title/frame in PS, info on "parent" param below. I wanted to create a feeling that this was a painting instead of a fractal. Hopefully the gradient and lighting achieved a hint of that. =P
